Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of
more than 1.6 billion Roman Catholics, on Friday said children have a
right to grow up with a mother and a father.
Speaking to a delegation from the
International Catholic Child Bureau at the Vatican, Francis
said: “It is necessary to emphasize the right of children to
grow up within a family, with a father and a mother able to create a
suitable environment for their development and emotional maturity.
Continuing to mature in the relationship, in the complementary of
the masculinity and femininity of a father and a mother, and thus
preparing the way for emotional maturity.”
As I have repeatedly stated, every time this man say's something that sounds vaguely inclusive, all the gay and secular news reporters praise and grovel at his feet thinking he's trying to end the churches centuries long attacks against homosexuals, and once again, as I have said time and again, he backhandedly bitch slaps the gay community soon afterward.
This man, who said the church must treat homosexuals with "dignity and respect", has just said (in his usual well worded way) gays are unfit parents and condemned gay marriage unequivocally.
Yet do you see this reported on any gay news site?
No, what you get is reports about him condemning child abuse by catholic priest, perfectly *timed* to deflect his recent proclamations against the homosexual community.

It's hard not to lie when you are a follower of christianity.
Gee, I hope he 'fixes' us soon so he can get on to the real family problems of divorce, neglect, abuse, and poverty. B
