Chachki was in Paris for Fashion Week and went to the well known Le Depot club in Paris.
Le Depot is a popular sex on premises venue (SOPV) and nightclub where the ‘sexiest gay parties take place’.
Chachki said she was at Le Depot for a Fashion Week party and tried to go downstairs to the SOPV section when she was picked up by four men and ‘physically dragged out of the club’.
‘It was a fashion week party. At club that has dark rooms downstairs for sex (sic),’ Chachki told Hornet’s news editor.
‘I was there seeing 3 friends that were performing/dj. I wasn’t in drag but I had makeup on.
‘I met someone there who also had makeup on but was obviously male bodied but very feminine. We tried to go downstairs to the sexy part when like 4 guys picked us up and dragged us out of the club.’
At about 4am Paris time on Sunday morning, Chachki tweeted about the incident.
‘I was just physically dragged out of Le Depot in Paris for not being masc presenting enough. I’m in shock and disgusted,’ she tweeted.
