Congress Members 'Lining Up' To Defy Ruling On Gay Marriage, Pastor Claims

Christian conservative pastor Rick Scarborough claims members of Congress are “lining up” to sign a document vowing to defy a Supreme Court ruling striking down gay marriage bans.
Scarborough, a vocal opponent of gay rights, told WND.com that once gay couples can marry in all 50 states, there will be mass arrests of Christians.

If such unions become legal, then the government “better have a lot of prisons and jails,” Scarborough said.
According to WND, Scarborough has joined with James Dobson of Family Talk Radio, Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel and James Robison of Life Today to write the statement.
“We're taking a very adamant stand,” Scarborough said. “If the court declares same-sex marriage to be on the same par as a civil right, that's a bridge too far. We won't obey. We'll go to jail.”
Members of Congress are “lining up to sign the document,” he said.
“We will simply refuse to comply with recognizing same-sex marriage as legitimate. The Supreme Court does not have the inherent right [to make that change]. We're going to continue doing what we've always done,” he added.

Most of these people already deserve to be behind bars and yes Mr. Scarborough, there are plenty of prisons to lock you all away, after all, its your ilk that built the bulk of them so you could overcrowd them with young black men...you know, those other people you whitewashed religious bigots have been persecuting and imprisoning for decades now?
Enjoy your stay in the pokey dumb-asses.

Love your comment, Ulf!
This shit makes me so furious. There's a constant battle on Facebook between the Repbulican conservatives and Liberal Democrats, Independents and non-Christians, its incredible.
Some of the outrageous statements by Republicans are horrifying, to say the least, especially by those who claim to be Christian but have no idea of what that actually means! Their hate and bigotry overwhelm their thinking and they lose the real meaning of their religion. (It makes me happier that I'm agnostic.)
