Kid Gloves Off

Just a follow up on Lt. Toby Will of the Stockton police department in California, who penned an anti-gay/anti-marriage equality letter to a local paper.
Mr. Will compounded his action, by insisting that not only his name be signed to the piece, but his title as a public police official.
Of course, this was a vile attempt of Mr. Will to give weight to his twisted, evil religious dogma.
As it turns out, Mr. Will has been put on leave while the Stockton police department decided what to do with him.
Of course, those same LGBT tax payers he reviles so much, are now being forced to give him paid time off for his orgiastic religious revelry.
As bad as this is, the news paper and the editor cite his first amendment rights as the very reason why they published his letter.
To that so called justification I would simply respond, substitute the word homosexual or gay with black, Jew or woman for that matter and would the papers stance be the same?
The answer is of course, no.
The video above, shows the attempt of the police department to now do damage control, but I say, they should have done it years ago.
Here's what one person, who worked with Will a few years ago, said about him:
"When I was a Stockton police officer Toby Will was my sergeant for a while. Susan Eggman was running for city council and a police officer was needed to attend one of her public forums. Will assigned me, probably because I was known as a supporter of LGBT rights. As I was checking out my M16 for the day, in the armory, Will was discussing how Eggman was a "sodomite." Soon thereafter we were reviewing mug shots at roll call. Most were of Black males. Will commented "Oh, there's ____ father", mentioning the name of a Black police officer in the room. Funny though, I saw Will recently gambling at Silver Legacy in Reno, and took a few pictures of him enjoying gambling, and consuming an alcoholic beverage. I guess Will's racism, ****-hatred, and other zealous religious views allow him to attack decent human beings, and also to engage in the "sins" of drinking and gambling. SPD can do better. "
It isn't enough they give lip service to this man, he needs fired, there is no way either the department or Will could say he could perform his job in a fair and equitable manner.
Further more, Mr. Will didn't get to be in the position he has today, without high ranking officers in the Stockton police department knowing this mans disgusting views, so the only conclusion I can reach, is there are other high ranking people who support him and his bigotry.
You wanted attention Lt. Toby Will, I say give him and his entire department exactly what he wished for.
I think the only fitting next headline in this story at the Stockton Record, should be: "Shake Down At The Stockton Police Department."
