The Human Rights Campaign paid for a brilliant Grindr ad during a Republican conference.
The
Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) brings together
Republicans from across the country, including closeted Trump
supporters.
So the Human Rights Campaign stuck this ad up on Grindr:
The ad references closeted gay men having discreet gay hook-ups in hotel rooms but spouting anti-gay rhetoric publicly.
Using targeted geo-location, the ad showed up at the bottom of the home screen as users logged on to the app.
President Trump stripped back protections for trans kids this week and the Republican party platform is infamously anti-gay.
One escort claimed to have made $16,000 over the course of the Convention.

Male escorts can’t keep up with the demand
At the Republican National Convention last year, reports indicated a huge boom in clients for male escorts.
‘Business has been way better. I’ve seen 10 clients so far,’ said one hustler to the New York Post.
‘Most of them were first-timers.
You could tell they were nervous, but once they became more comfortable, they seemed to be having a good time,’ he revealed.
