Help the really rich one hotdog at a time

I was a proud volunteer for this political hootenanny and let me say, my adopted home state may have many problems but they still have a great sense of humor!
Help the REALLY RICH ... One Hot Dog at a Time!

In recognition and celebration of the Social Security Act, signed into law by President Franklin D Roosevelt on August 14, 1935, the following groups; West Virginians United for Social and Economic Justice; West Virginia AFL-CIO and Central Labor Councils located in 10 cities across West Virginia will be offering hot dogs to the public for the 1935 price of 5¢ this weekend.

As we watch our great nation being destroyed economically by those in congress who are willing to use extreme measures to protect billionaires, millionaires and tax-dodging corporations from paying their fair share of taxes, while rejecting discussion of job creation initiatives by governmental investment in infrastructure projects, WV progressive organizations are promoting a tongue in cheek solution to raising revenue without asking the Really Rich or tax-dodging corporations to pay their fair share of taxes.

For a contribution of 5¢ per hot dog working West Virginians will be "Helping the Really Rich" address the problem of deficit reduction without raising their taxes.

All contributions collected from the "Help the Really Rich" hot dog events will be presented to the Bureau of the Public Debt in Parkersburg West Virginia on August 25, 2011 at 1:00 pm helping reduce our nation's debt, one hot dog at a time.
