The cast of the Netflix series Sense8
joined the party Saturday as Sao Paulo celebrated LGBT Pride.
Believed to be the largest Pride parade
in the world, thousands of Brazilians participated in Sao Paulo's
19th annual parade.
In several videos
uploaded to YouTube, director Lana Wachowski is seen on a float
directing the actors, strongly suggesting that the footage will be
used in the show's upcoming second season.
As Beyonce's Run the World (Girls)
blasts, Miguel Angel Silvestre, who plays Lito Rodriguez, a closeted
telenovela star, and Alfonso Herrera, who plays Lito's boyfriend on
the show, dance and make out shirtless. Soon other cast members,
including Max Riemelt (who plays Wolfgang Bogdanow), Brian J. Smith
(Will Gorski) and Tuppence Middleton (Riley Blue), join in the fun.
Before the dancing, Lito tells the
crowd that Hernando (Herrera) is the love of his life. The men kiss
and Lito dips his boyfriend.
In the show's first season, several of
these characters participated in an orgy of the senses while not
being in the same physical location.
“Oh man. Sao Paulo pride was
unforgettable. A shoutout to our fans and our amazing security
personnel,” Brian J. Smith tweeted.
