The End Of An Idea:
Back when JD and I were on vacation at the end of June and we encountered a group of my fans at a local gay bar,(who recognized me from the self portrait that's been posted at the Daddy's Here site for ages) several of these guys asked if I ever did fan request, I politely responded: "Rarely, I always have an abundance of my own ideas to work on."
But it got me thinking.
It has been my custom to shake my life up every ten years, ever since I was a kid.
By shake up, I mean just that, make changes in my life in area's that can vary from the way I dress, my exercise routines, what I eat, right down to those whom I have called or thought friend.
To the latter, if I haven't had more than 30 second conversation with you in the last 6 months, then what's the friggin' point in pretending we're still friends?
That said, not long after returning home, my lifelong best friend and band mate Kevin, passed away from a sudden heart attack.
I was/am devastated to say the least but this major change in my life also further spurred me to institute my ten year shake up.
When things settled down another artist friend, who has been my most trusted art bud since I started posting artwork online and with whom I had voiced some shake up ideas with, suggested I put more effort into this blog, which I did and found I rather enjoy doing it.
But it also got me thinking back to what the guys in the bar had said.
So I put on my little thinking cap and came up with the notion to do an ongoing series based on the one pic that I have gotten the most responses too over the years, hence the pic in this post.
Originally titled: "Ready For More?" At the time of it's original posting, I was going for something a little rougher than my normal fair (human punching bag by an uber top)
So it was originally my idea to do up a story involving these two characters, but while gathering my thoughts on what I'd do, something else took root, why not do an ongoing series that showcases as many of my fans fetish and kink request as possible?
So what folks have been seeing is only a fraction of where the story was heading.
More like an introduction with lots more to come as I had time.
JD even suggested getting some of my writer friends to collaborate and push the series into multiple directions with characters coming and going.
Bold undertaking, but I'm a very prolific man and thought it doable and something I thought my fans would really enjoy.
OKay, some of ya did, but the other night, others from a fan based yahoo group took it upon themselves to start critiquing the story, character endowments etc. thus far.
As you would guess, this didn't set well with me, since I post all my artwork freely and have stated over and over again: If ya don't like something I do, go somewhere else. So, in anger, I responded to this nitwit.
Now one would think, that after that, the moderators of said fan group would get the idea I wasn't happy and would seek to diffuse my ire.
But this was not the case, two more negative comments were put thru.
By that time, I had had it and sent the owner of the fan group an email demanding he stop posting my artwork on his group.
I post this stuff for free folks if ya enjoy it fine, if ya don't, then show a little fucking respect and keep it to yourself and just go look at something that does do it for ya.
I don't come into your fucking house and disrespect you and I sure as hell ain't gonna tolerate it from anyone in mine!
'nuff said,
Ulf
PS, needless to say, this series is over, I will not be posting the rest of what I've already done, nor will I finish the ones I have already started.
Just goes to show ya: "No good deed goes unpunished"
Live and learn.

Well I wouldn't ever think there was abetter picture of domination than this one as the muscled naked punching bag strung up helpless and sweating in fear - SO I WILL RELISH this one and make the story evolve in my mind as you would want all your good fans to do
I'm a longtime fan of your work, albeit one who has appreciated your art & talent in comparative silence..until now. Without any equivocation I'm behind your decision to pull your permission from that so-called fan group. I love how non-artists think they have standing to offer ANY criticism. In fact those statements I read from them were devoid of critical thought. Totally unnecessary. Really this is the state of things today where any half-wit with a computer can post anything they want just to see their name in print.Don't let anyone deter you from expressing yourself artistically. True fans love you & want to see more
I have already written, expressing my thanks and appreciation for this specific series. I can fully understand your frustration and, consequently, your decision to refuse reproduction on the Yahoo site. However, for those of us who eagerly anticipate your additions to the series, I hope that you will reconsider your decision to cease entirely. Perhaps, you would be willing to restrict the series to your blog here?
In any event, I thank you for your submissions, once again.
Sorry if this gets long and rambling – bad habit! I’m one of your English fans who, when you recently posted you’d like to get it together with a brit, thought ‘Yes please!’
I think I first found your work through the illustrations for a story – Rim Pig’s ‘Dangerous Marine’ - and then found the Yahoo group and most recently started following your work on your Blog which allows me to see stuff full size and enables me to appreciate the amount of work each piece must take much better than what I can see on the Yahoo site. The blog also gives me access to all the other stuff you post making it an even greater turn on – though I have to say I don’t read all the stuff and tend to stick with the pictures, videos and captions! So pass on my thanks to the guy who encouraged you to work on the blog and please keep it up – pun intended.
I live in London which means I have access to some great art galleries and membership means I go to see exhibitions whether or not I think I will like them. The point is I never like every piece I see for all sorts of different reasons. With your work, I tend to go for the dirty/sex stuff rather than the fantasy – yes I know it’s all fantasy but I’m sure you get my drift. And I love far, far more than I don’t.
You recently posted an interview with a fellow artist – I’d love to see something similar with you as the subject discussing your work and what drives it. Sadly, in my experience, people are much quicker to find fault than to praise – or is it that we are quicker to react to adverse comment? Whatever - I think you know there are loads of people who love and appreciate your work and look forward to new drawings appearing and fret when things go quiet.
The upside of the digital age is that it is so easy to make good stuff like yours readily accessible; the downside is that it is just as easy for people to share the sort of comments that started and ended this.
I’m sorry we won’t see any more of the ‘Take it Bitch’ series. And while I don't think your imagination needs any help in coming up with ideas to illustrate, you might enjoy the story ‘A trial of Strength’ by Rob on Gaydemon.
Finally – I promise – a definition. ‘Yahoo’ – noun – ‘a boorish, crass or stupid person’. Nuff said!
Thanx guys for all the nice words, I truly appreciate them.
N8Steve...I have found, over the course of the last year or so, that the bulk of my fave porn scenes have involved Brit guys.
Love 'em nasty, rough and playful all at the same time.
As for the interview, I'll do ya one better.
I can't think of anyone better to ask me questions than a fan and since ya have the added bonus of being British and thereby topographically qualified to be a victim of my current lustful intentions (how's that for a segue?)I would be happy to answer any and all queries YOU would care to ask me.
Balls in your court, you can email me if your interested in doing so.
Love to have that body in front of me bound naked and sweaty
Just throwing a little affirmation your way. I have always admired your style and am never disappointed. You fuel my imagination, big time. Keep delivering the goods.
Carl, consider it done.
