Maxim Martsinkevich Get's 5 Years For Racism, But Nothing For Torturing Gay Teenagers

Maxim Martsinkevich, leader of the notorious anti-gay group Occupy Pedophilia, was sentenced to five years in prison on Friday but the charges were for racist videos that he posted to Russian social media website VK – not his entrapment and torture of gay men on camera.
Martsinkevich, who is also known as ‘Machete’ or ‘Cleaver,’ and his group entrapped very young gay men online by pretending to be gay teens and then put them through homophobic ordeals while being filmed – then humiliating them by posting them on the internet.
According to LGBTQ Nation, Martsinkevich was arrested in Cuba in January and extradited to Russia on ‘extremism’ charges after he committed crimes there. It is not the first time Martsinkevich has seen the inside of a Russian prison cell as he has past convictions for extremist activity.
Another nine members of the gang have been arrested in Russia and are awaiting trial over their persecution of gay men. They have been charged with organizing an extremist group, participation in an extremist group, acts of violence, making death threats, robbery and inflicting bodily harm. Those nine men will face a court in the Kamensk-Uralsky region in September.
