What's This...Is God Trying To Tell Us Tony Perkins Is Gay?

Tony Perkins – president of the anti-gay Christian group Family Research Council – revealed earlier this week that his home has been destroyed in a flood “of near biblical proportions.”
Speaking on Family Research Council radio, Perkins explained that he and his family were forced to escape their flooded home in a canoe.
“This is a flood, I would have to say, of near biblical proportions,” the homophobic lobbyist announced.
Perkins said that he and his family were new living off of “God’s provisions,” in their mobile home, where they will spend the next six months
Ironically, Perkins – a longtime opponent of LGBT rights – has previously claimed that past hurricanes were a sign of “God’s wrath for the legalization of gay marriage”.

Mr. Leather UK, Joe King

By Joe King:
Sometimes people will smirk or laugh at me, or sing YMCA when they see me in my leather gear in the street – but I don’t give a shit.

Keeping our culture alive is very important to me, the ways, customs and attitude of our community is something worth preserving and worth fighting for.

You may hear leathermen referring to each other as ‘brothers’ and that’s because our friendships run very deep and over many years we have forged a strong community of which we are all incredibly proud.

For many years before I found the scene, I was a lone leather ranger, not belonging to any specific group and only wearing my gear at home and for sex.

Like others, I’ve had a pretty rough time of it over the years. I was unlucky enough to find myself in an abusive relationship with a malevolent narcissist who made it his life’s work to dismantle me piece by piece. It took a long time to recover from that experience, but I feel lucky to have survived it – I very nearly didn’t.

Finding the confidence to embrace leather, and then to reach out to the community was difficult. I didn’t really know anyone on the leather scene and it seemed a really intimidating world to break into.

But I wanted to have leathery mates to meet up with. So, I took the plunge and joined Manchester Leathermen. I never looked back.

For the first time probably in my life, I fitted in and everything made sense and finally, I’d moved into my own skin.

The leather scene is deeply sexual, and has many conventions for the behavior of the role you play within its structure. From an outsider’s perspective this can be an intimidating barrier. But the reality is that you wouldn’t ever find less-judgmental, more open minded and supportive people as you will within the leather community.

It goes beyond sex: it’s a mindset. You will find your place, and no one will push you (unless that’s your thing of course).

I’d always fantasized about becoming Mr Leather UK but it seemed so far beyond my reach. I mentioned this to one of my leather buddies, who said that I should go for it and that I had a good chance.

I was really unsure – after all what did I have to offer the community? There are so many other men who do more, have better bodies, have better leather and are more able to get around to the packed calendar of international events than me.

But I knew that if I didn’t go for it I would regret it forever, so I decided that this was a time to push myself. So I did. And I won.

It was a blinding life-changing moment, and one that I will never forget, ever.

Now I’m preparing for the Mr Leather Europe contest in Helsinki at the end of August, and this time my perspective has changed, I have nothing to prove to myself anymore: this time I’m doing it for different reasons.

Yes, leathermen have great sex, know how to enjoy ourselves and have fun, but our family has enormous untapped potential. Our fetish is expensive, and that is a barrier to welcoming new people to the scene and we should be finding ways to help people overcome this.

We need to provide ways for people to join us who might not have the confidence to come out on the scene – people who would make our community stronger and more diverse who would otherwise be needlessly isolated.

If I win Mr Leather Europe, I’d harness the power of my leather family to support communities around the world: those precious pockets of our family who aren’t lucky enough to live in relatively enlightened societies and have an enormous uphill battle ahead of them. We have been there individually, and as a community, and we can support them.

I never would have thought when I bought my first leather harness in my 20s that my leather life would unfold this way and that I would be so passionate about a band of people who happen to be into leather.

I feel profoundly lucky, humbled and proud to represent, and have such deep and loyal bonds with, such a brilliant community of sexy, witty, creative and honorable people.

Like Mr Leather UK on Facebook.

Gay Bois In Bondage

How Do You Reason With People Like This?

Silly Faggots...

During a radio appearance, Lucian Wintrich, the New York City-based photographer, said that an increasing number of twinks, which he defined as “skinny,” under 25 gay men, were supporting Donald Trump for president.
Wintrich gained national attention for a photo series dubbed “Twinks for Trump.”

On The Ryan Kelley Morning After, Wintrich admitted that a “good handful” of his models were not Trump supporters but were participating to make a “cultural statement.” When pressed for a number, Wintrich said that there were “more [twinks] than you would imagine” supporting Trump.
“A lot of twinks have reached out out to me and said, 'Well, I didn't know there were more of us,'” Wintrich said. “They're out there. They exist.”
“What is it about Donald Trump's policies that these twinks like so much?” Wintrich was asked.
“First of all, he's a wonderful, strong daddy figure and every twink loves that,” he answered.
Wintrich added twinks are attracted to Trump's policies on immigration, taxes and government spending.
“If you really look at his gay policies, versus Hillary Clinton, he is better not only for Americans in general but for gay people,” Wintrich claimed. “Hillary Clinton's looking at a 500 percent increase in Syrian refugees. … And Donald Trump's going to put a stop to that.”
Trump has made a similar argument, claiming that he's a better friend to the LGBT community than Clinton because he'll keep all Americans safe. On Monday, he proposed an “extreme vetting” immigration policy that would keep out radical Muslims who support the death penalty for sexual minorities. The Clinton campaign accused Trump of pandering to the LGBT community, rhetorically asking, “How can Trump put this forward with a straight face when he opposes marriage equality and selected as his running mate the man who signed an anti-LGBT law in Indiana?”
Wintrich, however, insisted that Trump would block immigrants who “ideologically oppose gay people.”
When asked whether it was possible that some of the Syrian refugees were actually “hot twinks,” Wintrich jokingly answered that that was “a risk we might have to take.”
He added that his “homoerotic photography” would help Trump clinch the White House.
Wintrich is not associated with the Twitter account Twinks4Trump, which is more a parody account.

Mike Pence Is An Asshole

Mike Pence on Sunday refused to say whether he believes business owners should have the right to refuse service to gay men and lesbians based on their religious beliefs.
Last year, Pence, Donald Trump's running mate, as governor of Indiana was forced to “fix” a “religious liberty” law that critics said would allow businesses to discriminate against the LGBT community based on their beliefs.
Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace asked Pence: “Do you believe that a business owner, a person who owns a bakery, a photography shop, whatever, should have the right to refuse to serve a gay if he feels that it violates his religious convictions?”
Pence answered that he does not believe in discrimination, but avoided answering the question.
“If I was in a restaurant and I saw someone denied service because they were gay, my family wouldn’t eat there again,” Pence said. “I don’t believe in discrimination and I don’t support discrimination against anyone.”
“But when there is a conflict of rights here in our society, those are the proper purview of the courts,” Pence added. “And I do believe that the efforts we made in Indiana contributed to being able to resolve those things as Americans have done for generations.”
Cowardly answer, but let us read between the lines, shall we?
Yes, he thinks they should be able to refuse service and if they don't like it, then let 'em file a very expensive lawsuit that would most likely consume them financially for years to come (if they can afford to anyway) and still potentially lose their case if they happen to get a Christian judge who hates uppity faggots.
There, I think we get the message asshole.

Who You Try'in To Jive With That Cosmic Debris Donny?

Speaking Monday in Youngstown, Ohio, Donald Trump delivered a major foreign policy speech.
The Republican nominee for president proposed a values test to keep radical Muslims out of the United States.
“In the Cold War, we had an ideological screening test,” Trump told an energized crowd. “The time is long overdue to develop a new screening test for the threats we face today. I call it extreme vetting. I call it extreme, extreme vetting. Our country has enough problems. We don't need more.”
“We must screen out any who have hostile attitudes toward our country or its principles or who believe that Sharia law should supplant American law,” he said. “Those who do not believe in our Constitution, or who support bigotry and hatred, will not be admitted for immigration to our country.”
According to Trump, terrorism is driven by radical Islam, which supports “honor killings” for women accused of shaming their families and the death penalty for gay men. “My administration will speak out against the oppression of women, gays, and people of different beliefs,” the GOP candidate vowed.
A policy adviser for Hillary Clinton's campaign called Trump's proposal smoke and mirrors.
“How can Trump put this forward with a straight face when he opposes marriage equality and selected as his running mate the man who signed an anti-LGBT law in Indiana?” Jake Sullivan said in a statement. “It's a cynical ploy to escape the scrutiny of his outrageous proposal to ban an entire religion from our country and no one should fall for it.”
Yes, Donny has our back, except for the fact Daddy Donald has decided to take anti-gay Tony Perkins as an adviser, just promised evangelicals, once again, that he would reverse the Supreme Court decision on same sex marriages and reaffirmed his commitment to appoint staunchly conservative judges to the court, picked the most anti-gay governor he could find as his running mate.
Yeah, and if your gay and you vote for this thin skinned homophobe then you deserve every bit of misery coming your way for the next 20 to 30 years.
