God Sends A Warning To The Catholic Church...
The Creator of the Universe (God) is showing how pissed off he is at the Catholic church for it's continued attacks on the: "Most blessed amongst Gods children" aka homosexuals otherwise referred to by Jesus in the New Testament as *born eunuchs* (yeah, even Jesus said we were born that way)
Has started opening volcanic vents around Rome...now I'm sure the Pope wouldn't want to see God destroy Rome and of course the seat of the Roman Catholic religion (Vatican City) but there ya have it, get with the program or face the consequences of your evil actions of intolerance and false judgement against his blessed children and of course from denying them the right of marriage and forcing them to live in sin. (which of course, God warns you against in the book of Revelations)
I'm sure we all hope, you repent and not face Gods wrathful judgement!
New Mexico Judge Declares Gay Marriage Legal; Orders County To Issue Licenses
A New Mexico judge on Monday declared gay marriage legal in the state.
Judge Alan Malott of the Second Judicial District Court issued a judgment against the county clerks of Bernalillo and Santa Fe Counties and the State of New Mexico declaring that, to the extent New Mexico law prevents gay and lesbian couples from marrying, “those prohibitions are unconstitutional and unenforceable.”
However, Malott's ruling is only binding on clerks inside Bernalillo and Santa Fe counties and it was uncertain how the state's 30 other counties, which were not involved in the lawsuit, would react.
Bernalillo County Clerk Maggie Toulouse Oliver told the AP that she planned to start issuing marriage licenses to gay couples starting Tuesday morning at 8 AM.
Peter Simonson, executive director of the ACLU of New Mexico, which brought the case along with the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR), said that the ruling puts New Mexico “on the brink of joining the growing list of states who live and honor the values of family, liberty and love.”
Malott had been asked to recognize the marriage of Jen Roper and Angelique Neuman, a Pojoaque couple together 21 years. The women married Friday in the lobby of the cancer center at Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center.
Roper, who is suffering from a life-threatening form of brain cancer, had earlier filed an emergency request to let her legally marry her partner. A separate ruling handed down on Friday ordered Santa Fe Clerk Geraldine Salazar to begin issuing licenses to gay couples.
Salazar welcomed the order, handing out 49 marriage licenses on Friday and another 108 on Monday.
Dona Ana County Clerk Lynn Ellins on Wednesday began issuing marriage licenses to gay couples without a court order.
Without a law specifically prohibiting or legalizing nuptials for gay couples, proponents have argued that the state's laws on marriage are gender neutral and have turned to the courts to resolve the matter.
State Attorney General Gary King, a Democrat, has called the prohibition unconstitutional, while Governor Susana Martinez, a Republican, has so far only reiterated her opposition to marriage equality.
However, a group of Republican lawmakers is planning to file a lawsuit to stop Dona Ana County from issuing additional marriage licenses to gay couples.
“It is inexplicable how a district court just today discovered a new definition of marriage in our laws, when our marriage law has not been changed in over a century,” said Senator William Sharer, who is spearheading the effort to reverse the trend.

Sidney Crosby, Shea Weber Say They Oppose Russian Anti-Gay Law
Sidney Crosby, the 26-year-old captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins,
and Shea Weber, the 28-year-old defenceman of the Nashville
Predators, on Sunday came out against a Russian anti-gay law.
The law, signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in June, makes “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations among minors” illegal. Its passage has provoked an international outcry and calls for a boycott of the Winter Olympics to be held next year in Sochi.
The hockey players made their remarks during a news conference to kick off Canada's Olympic training camp, the Calgary Herald reported.
“For me growing up in Canada, my view has always been that way. I think that everyone has an equal right to play and I think we've been supportive of that. With the Olympics and the controversy around that I think those decisions and those laws aren't necessarily something that I agree with personally,” Crosby said.
Weber, an active supporter of You Can Play, the anti-homophobia in sports campaign, echoed Crosby's views: “Like Sidney said, the way we're brought up is different than how the Russians view it. We're going over there to play hockey and obviously that's what we're going to try to focus on.”
Bob Nicholson, president and CEO of Hockey Canada, agreed.
“The players have the right to speak out as they feel and we've been in constant communication with the Canadian Olympic Committee and totally support the stance they're making,” he said.
Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby, 23, added: “It's hard to go into a country that supports something like that. As athletes, we have to find a way to make sure we can use it to our advantage – gay rights, especially, but human rights – to move it forward.”
I'm finding it quite disconcerting that apparently str8, gay ally athletes, are doing a better job at speaking out about this Olympic bullshit than the gay athletes themselves, whom seem more concerned about themselves than they do their gay brothers and sisters.

Gay Activists In Amsterdam And Mayor Protest Anti-Gay Russian Policy
From The Huffpost:
AMSTERDAM -- More than 2,000 gay rights supporters protested in Amsterdam's largest square Sunday, carrying signs, singing songs and chanting slogans to condemn the Russian government's homosexuality policies.
Demonstrators especially criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin, with performers leading the crowd in cheering "Putin Out!" An enormous blow-up doll caricaturing the president flanked one side of the stage – flexing his muscles, bare-chested, and draped in a rainbow flag.
Protesters said Sunday their main concern is the law adopted by Russia's parliament in June making "propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations among minors" illegal.
Amsterdam Mayor Eberhard van der Laan told the crowd he hoped the protest would send the message to Moscow that "love is not propaganda."
Afterward in an interview with The Associated Press, he said the city "is proud of its homosexual community and they have the right to support from government" – not persecution. Amsterdam has a long history of tolerance of gay rights, including performing the first gay marriages in 2001.
Van der Laan said he didn't know whether the message would reach Moscow, but the protest was "a matter of principle."
"You have to say something at any rate," he said. He called on the Dutch government to submit a complaint to the European Court of Human Rights.
Dutchman Wijnand Looien, who traveled from the far south of the country to attend, said he believed such demonstrations make a difference.
"There's discussion about this everywhere," he said. "The pressure is increasing, and that's a good thing."
But Van der Laan declined to meet with Putin when he visited the Netherlands in March, sending lesbian councilwoman Carolien Gehrels in his place and flying a rainbow flag over city hall.
Organizer Frank van Dalen of Pride United said he was thrilled with the turnout for Sunday's demonstration, which was put together in a matter of days – word spread quickly on social media.
"It shows that people are incredibly angry" about Russian treatment of gays, he said. "Not only gays and lesbians, but heterosexuals have come out to support them, and transgender and bisexual – this is something that concerns everyone."
After the protest ended, the gay activists marched in a group to the opposite end of the square to attend the Russian concert, which featured Russians in folk costumes doing traditional dances.
The gay activists didn't disturb the performances, though they continued to wave rainbow flags from the audience.
Russian tourist Alina Alieva, who came for the Russian folk concert, said she didn't approve of the gay demonstration.
"They shouldn't do this, because it can worsen the situation," she said. "We come from different cultures, we have different histories and different customs."
By worsen the situation, do you mean it might piss someone in the government off and they will make things worse for gay people?
And you people call yourselves civilized?
It's been made quite clear, that Putin and his government have been trying to make strides in welcoming the west and it's free market ideas into Russia, so why are they now cutting their nose off to spite their face?
Moral of the story: Act like barbarians and be treated like barbarians.
