The Vatican’s head of doctrine says critics of his faith’s anti-gay
crusade are conducting a “concerted campaign” to discredit the Catholic
Church that is resulting in open attacks against priests.
In an interview published on Saturday by Germany newspaper Die Welt,
Archbishop Gerhard Ludwig Mueller likened the sentiment directed at the
Catholic Church to that of the persecution against Jews in Europe during
World War II.
Archbishop Mueller, who leads the Congregation for the Doctrine of
the Faith, was quoted as saying that those attacking the church borrow
arguments used by totalitarian ideologies such as Communism and Nazism
against Christianity.
Well, let's see...I tend to judge people by both their deeds and their words.
Here's just a few headlines spewing venomously from the catholic church:
"Bishop of Shrewsbury: Introducing same-sex marriage amounts to Nazi fascism"
"Vatican newspaper says equal marriage 'deceives humanity', compares it to communism"
"Pope uses ‘peace’ day message to attack same-sex marriage"
"Pope: People are manipulating their sexual orientation to alter God-given nature"
These are just a few and just within the last couple of weeks.
It's clear, the Vatican has an agenda of hate, one it hopes will rally the weak minded to pump up it's declining membership and fill their collection plates.
Pope needs a new pair of shoes!

collection plates, fah! one has only to look at that golden staff and that chunky bling on the bishop's finger. melt some of that crap down and put it to good use. God doesnt care about shiny objects. it is why His son wore pauper's clothing for much of his life.
as for the persecution, have a taste of thine own medicine. welcome to our world ;)
It's a sad commentary indeed, since I know so many Catholics (my boi is a practicing catholic) and almost all of them don't share their leaderships views.
