Poor Catholic Church feels all oppressed...a position they aren't accustomed to being in, since *traditionally* they are the ones doing the oppressing.
The Catholic church use to torture people they called sinners and heretics for believing the world was round, not flat, that the Earth revolved around the sun instead of the other way around, gave us the Inquisitions and the Crusades in their never ending quest for power and control over it's congregations and followers.
They have amassed more wealth than any other religion (and most countries) and hoard it for an elite few.
This tired strategy of painting the victims as the offender just ain't gettin' no more padre.
