Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia on
Monday said that the logic behind Supreme Court rulings protecting
gay rights could also apply to child molesters.
During a speech at Georgetown
University, Scalia claimed that such decisions were not rooted in the
U.S. Constitution.
Scalia argued that the logic behind
those decision could also apply to any “unloved” minority,
including child molesters.
“What minorities deserve protection?”
Scalia
rhetorically asked. “What? It's up to me to identify
deserving minorities?”
“What about pederasts? What about
child abusers?”
“This is a deserving minority,” he
said with a sarcastic tone. “Nobody loves them.”
Instead, Scalia said, such decisions
should be left to the democratic process. Only political and
religious minorities are protected by the First Amendment, he
claimed.
“I write the dissents for you guys,”
he joked. “I write my dissents and try to make them not only clear
but interesting and even fun.”
In Obergefell vs.
Hodges, the Court held that the Due Process and
Equal Protection Clauses granted gay couples the right to marry on the
same terms as heterosexuals. Just as heterosexuals cannot marry as
children, gay couples cannot marry as children.
Scalia is being morally reprehensible, all of these citing's deal with consenting adults, not the molestation of underage minors.
By comparing the two, proves once and for all, your a disgusting religious bigot who doesn't deserve to wear the robes of a United States Supreme Court justice.

you are free to have moral feelings against homosexuality if you like. Just as others might have moral feelings against divorce. Or the death penalty
the learned judge appears to be trashing the position of the Supreme Court in the legal structure of the US. Many foreigners, including myself, don't understand how it all works. But what I do know, from life experience, is that sawing off the branch you are sitting on is seldom a wise move
Perhaps a little incite then, Scalia is Catholic, his eldest son is a Catholic priest who just happens to work in the Catholics branch of ex-gay therapy.
This judge should not have been sitting in on the proceedings concerning gay rights, let alone marriage equality, he can hardly boast any claim to impartiality.
One needs only look at the ignorance of his statements and comparisons to realize this.
He's a Nazi.
