The American pastor is being accused of open lewdness and indecent exposure, according to CBS.
But 61-year-old George Nelson Gregory from Munhall Pennsylvania says the police report is wrong.
Officers were sent to Beechland Street in Pittsburgh, near to where the pastor lives, around 11:30 p.m. Friday. A suspicious vehicle was reported as parked outside of a home.
According to the criminal complaint, when the officers arrived on the scene, they could see two men inside the vehicle.
Police say the pastor was in the back seat. But, the other man was found completely naked and bound with nylon rope in the front seat.
When officers asked what was going on, the pastor told the officers they: ‘were just playing.’
Simply adding ‘we meet up from time to time to play with each other.’
The other man confirmed that what they were doing was consensual.
However, the pastor now denies the conversation the police report quotes ever happened, who says:
‘I have nothing to hide. I did nothing wrong.’
According to his biography on the Waterfront Christian Community Church’s website, Gregory became a preacher at age 25.
Gregory and his wife have been married for nearly 35 years and have a grown son, daughter and grandchildren, according to the Daily Mail.
The pastor says he and his wife have been counseling the young man,
who was tied up. Adding they’ve been helping him with a drug problem for
years:‘I won’t deny that he began to take his clothes off and propositioned me, but I will deny, on a stack of Bibles with God as my witness, that I did nothing.’
Moreover, Gregory says because he had his clothes on during the alleged incident ‘there’s no reason for me to be charged with open lewdness.’
The criminal complaint obtained by KDKA shows both the pastor and the man who was found tied up – will get court summons paperwork mailed to them.
Okay, then how did this naked man tie himself up?
