It is clear that all those who opposed repeling DADT were religious bigots who only believe freedom extends to those "like-minded" Americans. Sadly, it is this small group of people who seem to have a great amount of political influence in this country, how fucking sad is that?!
I suppose if you think about it, we still allow the Catholic church to function even after all the horrible crimes committed by that institution. Somehow religion always gets a "pass" and I for one am damn tired of it.
What's truly sad, they don't actually believe or practice any religion, they just keep repeating what they've heard just for the sake of hate. Seems to be a very human failing.
