when homosexuality was decriminalised (in a limited way) in the UK in 1967, the Church of England, the Methodists and, astonishingly, the British Roman Catholic Church came out in favour. They helped the Act get passed, and they helped shift a prejudiced public opinion into a more neutral position
Pope Francis I's famous `Who am I to judge?` concerning homosexuality might be too ambiguous for many. But historically, it's shattering
