A couple in Kansas City refused to tip
their server at a local Carrabba's Italian Grill, deciding instead to
leave a demeaning note.
“Thank you for your service, it was
excellent,” the couple wrote on the back of the check. “That
being said, we cannot in good conscience tip you, for your homosexual
lifestyle is an affront to GOD. Fags do not share in the wealth of
GOD, and you will not share in ours. We hope you will see the tip
your faggot choices made you lose out on, and plan accordingly. It
is never too late for GOD's love, but none shall be spared for fags.
May GOD have mercy on you.”
The 20-year-old server's mother also
hosts at the restaurant, KCTV
5 reported.
Carrabas said in a statement that “We
embrace diversity and believe in treating everyone with respect,”
but did not say what action, if any, would be taken if the couple
returned.
Reacting to the incident, Dr. Marvin
Baker and his partner went to the restaurant on Thursday and asked to
be seated in the waiter's section.
“I was angry,” Baker said. “I
said this is not Christian as I know it.”
Additional supporters said they planned
on visiting the restaurant on Friday.

Uh, this is EXACTLY "Christian as I know it."
How did they know he was gay? Where they judging based on stereotypes, and if so isn't that completely against anything Jesus/God teaches??? Nowhere in this story have I heard that the waiter proclaimed his homosexuality so shame on them!

So: If he DID proclaim his homosexuality, THEN it would have been okay to stiff him on the tip and write a "screw you" message?
Yeah, that's what Jesus did when he visited Zaccheus.
