Matt Barber: Persecution Against Gay Marriage Foes Has Started:

 

Christian conservative Matt Barber on Monday stated that persecution of opponents of gay marriage had already started.

Barber, the director of cultural affairs at Liberty Counsel, a group opposed to gay rights, made his comments during the Faith and Freedom radio program.

Barber vowed to never accept two Supreme Court rulings in favor of marriage equality. One decision gutted the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), while the second paved the way for same-sex marriages to resume in California.

“Come what may. Come the persecution. Come the penalties. Come what may, the full weight of government, we will not pretend that a man can marry a man or a woman can marry a woman under any circumstances, in any context whatsoever,” Barber said.

“The persecution is already starting to happen,” he insisted. And “the court has opened the floodgates for persecution to occur.”

Social conservatives must rise up in resistance because “the line in the sand is drawn,” he added. 

Seriously Matt, do you really think your *tried and true* heteronormative bullying tactics impress me at all?

You hide behind your microphone in a closed studio spewing your vile hatred  uncontested.

You never make public appearances that might put you in the line of fire with those who can point out your lies and rub your nose in your flagrant self induced ignorance.

You hate for the sake of hate and hide behind Jesus and Christianity to continue what you've always done, playing the part of the loathsome schoolyard bully just to make yourself feel like your disturbed/twisted version of what a man should be.

If you feel like a victim right now, then maybe you should use this time to reflect on how you've made others feel around you all their lives.

If you can't manage that, then you better buckle up big boi, the rodeo has just started and your in for one hell of a ride bitch!
