Italian TV Network Removes Gay Sex Scene From "How To Get Away With Murder"

An Italian network has angered Shonda Rhimes after censored a gay love scene from an episode of How To Get Away With Murder.

Rhimes called the censorship ‘inexcusable’.

The scene comes from the pilot episode. It shows Connor, played by Jack Falahee, obtaining sensitive case documents by hooking up with another male character.

Falahee tweeted a side-by-side of the original and the censored version on Twitter, calling it ‘crazy’.

Show creator Peter Nowalk also tweeted his disappointment, providing the full scene as intended.

Rhimes, who is the executive producer of the show, said: ‘Censorship of any love is inexcusable’.

A bashful Rai tweeted an apology, acknowledging their fault was an ‘excess of modesty’ and vowed to air the entire episode on Sunday night as intended.
