Anti-gay Bigots Trying To Think Outside The Box...Comedy Ensues

Actually, this would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
Poor, pathetic, delusional idiots.

bondage?

but there are things which we should turn our mind to, and don't. I find the terms `groom and groom` silly, and when I hear a guy talk about his `husband` I have to snigger (possibly because it taps into something a bit giggly in the straight version). There I've said it, sorry but there it is. I can't offer any alternatives and I've thought about it. Even if we found something that would just be English sorted. Maybe the richness of language will throw something up in time, maybe from another language

in the meantime, there are simple protocol headaches. For example, how do you address a letter to two married guys?

Actually, for me, I've always preferred the term companion, describes it best for me and it's gender neutral.
Couldn't agree more about the awkwardness of calling each other husband, doesn't quite work for me and seems rather heteronormative.
As for your latter protocol headache, simplest solutions are the best, in my country, it is the address the post office delivers to and I just use the couples first names i.e to Bill and Ted...works for non-wed couples as well.
